Today was a heavy BJJ day. I did 1 hour of drills: takedowns and standing arm bars. Then rolled for an hour.

Strength day today.

A friend, Chris P., came over today and we lifted today. I decided to go with an old powerlifting protocol, the 5 x 5 dead lift. Looking for the max weight we can lift for 5 reps.

His max was 225.

Mine was 250.

We then did 30 minutes of focus mitt work.

Well,

Here we go! Starting to track my own personal routines.

1 hour of bjj drills last night, followed by 30 minutes of shoot/takedown practice, and finally an hour of full on MMA practice.
