Today was a heavy BJJ day. I did 1 hour of drills: takedowns and standing arm bars. Then rolled for an hour.

Strength day today.

A friend, Chris P., came over today and we lifted today. I decided to go with an old powerlifting protocol, the 5 x 5 dead lift. Looking for the max weight we can lift for 5 reps.

His max was 225.

Mine was 250.

We then did 30 minutes of focus mitt work.

Well,

Here we go! Starting to track my own personal routines.

1 hour of bjj drills last night, followed by 30 minutes of shoot/takedown practice, and finally an hour of full on MMA practice.

This is the best video I have seen yet regarding gun rights. A good view, regardless of your stance.

Glenn Beck and Ron Paul talk about the economy and a New World Order

I find it a bit ironic that after the past 8 years of government and corporate expansion, the conservatives are fearing the globalization and consolidating of economic, monetary, and governmental standards.

Do you think that we are headed towards a New World Order?

How to add "Recent Comments" and "Recent Posts" gadgets to Blogger.

While I was setting up my Blogger account, I noticed some glaring differences from my previous CMS experiences. Well, I actually found some things missing. the 2 that annoyed me the most were the absence of a "Recent Comments" and "Recent Posts" gadgets.

What I did find was a work around, and while not flawless it does get the job done fairly well.

First thing first, go to Layout>Page Elements and select a location to add a new gadget. Search your basic tab for the Feed gadget shown below:

Feed Feed Add Add content from an RSS or Atom feed to your blog.
By Blogger

Then you need to assign an RSS feed URL linking to your posts or comments. An example of my post feed is below. You will need to change your own blog name for it to work with your blog. And if you want to see comments, then change /posts/full to comments/full.
